At Encore Wellness & Weight Loss Management we have found writing down what you eat, how much you eat, and when you do your exercise is a great way to realize your weight loss goal. Maintaining a daily journal, keeps you honest about what you eat and exposes the bad habits that have prevented you from reaching your weight loss goal. Each morning before dressing, eating and drinking, empty your bladder and weigh yourself. Record your weight in the daily journal along with your exercise activities.
We also encourage you to keep a daily “Encore Gratitude Journal.” Gratitude is the greatest of all virtues. Every morning, make the decision to look for things to appreciate that day. Your overall wellness is linked to identifying something to be grateful for which helps turn what we have into enough and more. Being grateful allows us to prioritize what’s really important to our lives and puts things in their proper perspective.
Make a list of everything for which you’re grateful. Leave nothing out. Remember it is the ATTITUDE of GRATITUDE that works like a powerful magnet to attract more of what you are grateful into your life. This could quite possibly be the most important thing you have ever done for yourself.
